What we collect

When you send a message or a song request, we collect the details you type into the form: your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We don't ask for anything we don't need.

How we use it

Solely to reply to you and, where relevant, to write and deliver a commissioned song. We never sell your details and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Sensitive stories

Requests and messages often contain personal or health-related information. We treat those as confidential and never publish or quote them without your explicit written permission.

Keeping it

Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to complete the conversation or commission, plus a short period for records. Ask us to delete your details and we will.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can request a copy of what we hold, ask for corrections, or ask us to erase it. Email hello@ashryn.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days.
